We wanted to show you a glimpse behind the scenes of the Söder Studio Atelier. This is where we design, trial, and develop each item. It’s where designs are sketched, patterns are developed, and where the first of every garment is cut and sewn together. I’ve always had a very hand on approach to design and wanted to give you a view into my world.

After a year of popups and markets, we recognised how important it was for our customers to try on our garments prior to purchasing. Garments are a tactile item and we believe they need to be experienced in person, especially when they had subtle and unique details and cut.

Collection 02 has been a long time in the making, in fact over a year in the making. I started developing the new collection in spring of 2022. We even got as far as having samples made and shooting a look book. However in the weeks leading up to the launch I started feeling everything was being rushed and forced together.

Bespoke Project 02: A unique jacket for architectural photographer James Retief

A Journey through South East London
Living in the heart of South East London, I wanted to document one of my favourite ways to spend a Saturday.

Now that we have been around a little while, I thought it would be a good time to tell you more about me, my background and the influences behind Söder Studio.

Bespoke spacesuit made for MIT researcher and designer Maggie Coblentz. It was important that all materials were recycled and we were able to use a wonderful bright orange twill made from recycled plastic bottles.
